At the URBACT Summer University in Rotterdam from August 24-27th, a few hundred city practitioners, lead experts and stakeholders met for learning about latest city developments and putting new methodologies and tools into practice. Innovation, integrative & participative approaches and the art of problem identification where focusing points. There were inspirational talks of city leaders, city makers and interesting sight visits!
It was an astonishing 3 day experience of learning and exchanging in an international context.
For me personally it will be most useful for the Vitalcities project – within the Action Planning Networks call of the URBACT II program – that kicked off on July 18TH -21nd at Birmingham and for which I am the Lead Expert.
